Love this breaks remix from Yanaku & Mr No Name of Tawiah's 'Run (How You Feel)'. The synth sounds a bit like Chase and Status 'Take Me Away' but we'll let that slide. Best bit of the track definitely has to be Tawiah's vocal with its uplifting sultry tones. Keep your eye on this South London based gal!

Machinedrum captures the tranquil essence of Bonobo's 'Eyesdown' on this one yet manages to do it all at warp speed a with juke inspired drum pattern, somehow creating an up-tempo beat that still retains the chilled vibe of the original track.
Marcus Intalex works his magic on Lana Del Rey's massive 'Born to Die' track. Her soulful vocals skim across Intalex's rolling beat bringing a completely different vibe to that of the down tempo original.

The title track of this latest excursion is as much a robust 808/909 dance floor mover as it is an all out, arms in the air, hairs on the back of your neck serotonin overload. Its winding arpeggiated synths, lush pads, and tear-jerking vocals show Magnum to be an artist of meticulous attention to detail. On the b-side, ʻDenseʼ is a straight up banger. Crafty bass deployment, rustic synth chords and informed jungle referencing all contribute to what has got to be one of the hardest hitting tracks this winter. Also on the b is the French Fries remix of ʻDenseʼ. As we all know anything the Parisian touches turns to gold and this is no exception. Taking Magnumʼs original concept and stripping it back he adds a touch of grime into the melting pot, à la Slimzee sets circa 2001, and deals with the low end as only one of the finest bass operators would."
