Cropper- Blessing

Massive tune from  newcomer Cropper and even better he offering 'Blessing' as a free 320kbps download from FSM.  'Blessing' is a bass driven 2step/garage track featuring beautiful vocal transitions and sense of creative progression throughout the tune.  Cropper is in his final year on a music tech course down in Bristol and from the sounds of it he has been doing his homework; demonstrating his talents across the spectrum of electronic music. You can expect to see Cropper DJing across the country in the next few months (check his soundcloud for dates and more of his work!).

No longer a free download on this track but you will be glad to here that it is getting released  in the near future!

TEAL004 KOWTON Dirty Little Bomb/Dirty Little Bomb (Rivet Remix) Teal Recordings

Kowton - TEAL Recordings
After the success of his "Basic Music Knowledge" and "Keep Walking" singles Kowton returns with more of his horror infused bass music.  "Dirty Little Bomb" is produced through a layering of sound.  Throughout the tune new loops are grafted onto the track.  What begins as a dull lonely sounding bass evolves over the bars into thought-provoking colourful sounds creating something complete.  Interesting stuff.
Rivet takes the original and increases the tempo to bring you bass driven head bopping badness, definitely a tune that will draw a crowd to the dance-floor.

MODULE 008- D*Minds a.Subcrate aa.Stone River

From the new arm of Critical Music (Modulations) comes some more musical badness from Bristol's D*Minds.

Subcrate intros gently creating a dark atmosphere in preparing us for what is about to be unleashed.  D*Minds lay it down with a deep throbbing bass; you are gonna need some good speakers to appreciate this (laptop crap just isn't going to cut it).  The tune creates endless energy through its pulsating bass line and snatching kicks.

D*Minds - Sub Crate - Critical Music by Dminds

D*Minds Stone river is a tense roller.  There is a sense of rigidity created through its structure but it flows fluidly through its syncopated breaks.  Amidst a soundscape of slashing swords and quivering arrows D*Minds create a fresh interesting tune and definitely paints an audible picture.
